One of the most respected and revered men to have ever pulled on the black and white guernsey, Lou Richards’s career is celebrated with this exclusive piece of memorabilia. Richards enjoyed a distinguished career with Collingwood, representing the club in 250 games in the VFL and captaining the side from 1952-55, leading them to the 1953 Premiership victory. Richards was a classy footballer with a proficient set of skills by hand and foot, his kicking accuracy highlighted as Collingwood’s leading goal scorer in 1944, ‘48 and ‘50. Representing Victoria on three occasions and All-Australian in 1947 and 1948, Lou Richards was inducted into the Australian Football Hall of Fame in 1996.
